THE ROOM

Every inch tells a story.

Red booths. Wood-panelled walls. Toys on every shelf, a stuffed Spider-Man near a Lego crane, two old typewriters, travel photographs from around the world, and Polaroids of the people who’ve sat in these booths. Come for breakfast. Stay to look around.

The story

The sign on the door says 1955. Since then, this little corner of Hazeldean has served a lot of eggs, a lot of coffee, and a lot of regulars. Today it’s a breakfast and lunch joint with a little Korean: bacon and eggs in the morning, bulgogi sandwiches at lunch, and an owner who’ll ask if your stomach is happy before you leave.

Bring your camera.

Sit in a booth, take a Polaroid, and maybe you’ll end up on the wall too.
